Fashola For Lagos Boxing Show

The Governor of Lagos State,  Babatunde Raji Fashola is expected to lead other members of  his executive council to the Eko Hotel and Suites for an international boxing event  today.

The event tagged “Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame’s Red Carpet International Amateur Boxing  Show, put together by the Lagos State Boxing Hall Of Fame, LSBHF, the state government  and the Lagos State Amateur Boxing Association, LSABA, promises to be explosive, as  boxers from England based Repton Boys Club, London, will take part in the two-day  tourney.

A gala nite is scheduled for today after which there will be an eight-bout contest.  Speaking on the event, LSBHF Chairman and one-time Commissioner of Finance in Lagos  State, Wale Edun, said  all hands are on deck to ensure that the tourney is successfully  organised. He noted that tickets for the event have since been sold out.
