AYC Qualifier: F/Eagles Tackle Mauritius

Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles will this weekend tackle their counterparts from Mauritius in an Africa Youth Championship, AYC, qualifying match.

To get to this stage, the Coach John Obuh tutored side defeated Sudan 2-1 on aggregate. The Chukwudi Fortune skippered side won the first leg 2-0 at the Abuja National Stadium but lost the second leg 0-1. This is the final qualifying match and either of the team that carries the day in the two legged qualifiers will secure a ticket to play at the AYC holding in Libya next year.

Coach Obuh has assured Nigerians that they will leave nothing to chance to ensure that they win the crucial match away from home.
