The draw for winners of cash prizes and airtime in the on-going Glo Recharge and Go To Old Trafford promo was held in Lagos yesterday with the full backing of the National Lotteries Regulatory Commission, NLRC.
The Deputy Director, Regulations and Monitoring, of the Commission, Emmanuel Jeminiwa, who was part of the first draw conducted for winners of N500 airtime and cash prizes of N250,000 said the Glo promo is worthy of praises.
“I have seen the draw by myself and can say the promo is real. There is no manipulation and Globacom has proved to the NLRC and its subscribers that its’ a transparent company with a classâ€, Jeminiwa said at the Mike Adenuga Towers on Victoria Island.
The NLRC chieftain said Globacom’s initiative to reward lucky subscribers is a unique aspect of reaching out to Nigerian youths who would be discouraged from social vices.
Speaking on the first draw of Season II of the promo attended by Dr. Rafiu Ladipo of the Supporters Club and Henry Meyer, the Regional Director of MNET, Globacom’s Executive Director, Legal Services, Mrs. Gladys Talabi said the promo is a delibrate strategy to give something back to the society, especially their loyal subscribers.
