A group, Isheri Oshun Indigenous Youths Forum, IOIYF, has appealed to the state governor, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola over the deplorable state of Iyana Isheri Road which has become an embarrassment to all Lagosians.
Iyana Isheri road, which falls under the Alimosho-Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Nigeria, also serves as a major link road to Isheri Oshun and other communities in the area.
According to the vice president of the group, Chief Mufutau Olatunde Disu who is also the Secretary, Council of Chiefs of the town, called on the state government to come to their rescue as a matter of urgency by rehabilitating the road which he said has become almost impassable.
He commended the governor for his overall performance in the state, adding that if the road is constructed it will also serve as an alternative road to the ongoing Ijegun, Isheri Oshun-Jakande road linking Isolo, which is currently being handled by Hitech Construction Company.
He urged Lagosians to continue to support the administration of the governor to enable them continue to enjoy more development.
