The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria,Â James Abiodun Faleke, has got the blessing of elders of his party, the Action Congress ofÂ Nigeria (ACN), to contest next yearâ€™s House of Representatives election.
The elders, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, after a meeting last weekend,Â announced the decision to support Faleke.
Also, stakeholders in the constituency as well as the three ACN chairmen in Ojodu,Â Onigbongbo and Ikeja councils have endorsed the ambition of the Ojodu LCDA chief.
Alhaji Taoreed Ashiru, one of the elders and chairman, Ojodu LCDA branch of ACN, saidÂ Faleke received the eldersâ€™ blessing based of his commitment to the growth of the area.
He said Falekeâ€™s performance as council chairman has indicated that he worthy ofÂ representing the constituency at the national level.
According to Alhaji Ashiru, Faleke is not only a high performer but also a committedÂ party loyalist and transparent administrator.
