As the Holy Order of The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Sabo, Oko-Oba, Lagos State, Nigeria District, began its 50th year anniversary celebration, the General Leader and District Chairman, Special Apostle Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, has said the movement is crime free.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS on the programme of activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the church Alogbo said members of the movement are disciplined and they do not get involved in crime, especially whenever they hold public office.
The district chairman said that part of the programme of the anniversary is to spread the gospel to all nooks and crannies of the country so that Nigeria as a nation will be free from crime. “Go and find out in the history of Nigeria, you will not find any member of C&S involved in any crime at any level,” he said.
Alogbo who relocated to Lagos from Zaria, Kaduna State, to establish the Sabo District of the church said: “If there is religious tolerance in Nigeria, the country will be an heaven on earth.”
The anniversary programme, which started with the hoisting of 50th anniversary flag by the Boys and Girls Brigade continues today with a special prayer for the nation, Lagos State, the Unification and other activities. Thursday is Women’s Day, youth programme on Friday, Church commissioning on Saturday and anniversary thanksgiving on Sunday.
