Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele (JP) has lashed out at the past Nigerian leaders as the architect of our problems.
Primate Ayodele said this during the 50th Independence Anniversary at the church headquarters in Oka-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria.
“All our leaders are corrupt and most of the past leaders’ ruined this country. All of those who have ruled in the past and now agitating to come back have nothing to offer. They are self-centred and God will deal with them ruthlessly very soon.
“Can’t you see how the down-trodden Nigerians scrambed to collect bags of rice from the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Dame Patience Jonathan? What can that little rice do in their lives?
“There are many other important things they could do to make the lives of the citizenry more meaningful than giving them rice,” he reasoned.
He also used the occasion to give out cash to the widows and school children. He advised the students “you school children should realise the fact that Nigeria celebrated 50th Independence without any achievement. This does not mean you won’t go places. Whatever you want to achieve, INRI Widow Foundation will take responsibilty. We have president, vice president, senate president, senate president, speakers and governors among you.â€
The publisher of Ghana-based Leadership Mirror, Otunba Larry Ayodeji gave Primate Ayodele Kwameh Nkrumah Leadership Award.
The Chief Superintendent of Police in charge of Badagry Prison, CSP, S. O. Kolawole presented a speech tagged “You As A Future Leader” to the Youth of INRI, Evangelical Spiritual Church.â€
“Many factors played a leadership role in the life of our youth to be come good or bad leaders among which are parental care, societal factors, negligencce by government and qualitative education,†he said
