The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, is expected to speak on Saturday, 9Â October at the public presentation of the Journal of Contemporary African Studies (JCAS).
Also expected to speak at the event is the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Malam Nuhu Ribadu.
The presentation to be hosted by Heinrich Boll Foundation, Nigeria and titled Nigeria At 50: The Nation In Narration,’ will include public discussion relating to the country’s 50 years of nationhood and the federal system.
Expected at the event are Prof. Egbosa Osaghae, the Vice Chancellor of Igbinedion University, Okada, Benin and Mrs. Ayo Obe, the former President of the Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO).
Also expected are Prof. Akin Oyebode, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Prof. Pat Utomi and Prof. Richard Joseph.
