A Senatorial aspirant in Lagos State on the platform of the PDP, Mrs. Adenike AgnesÂ Shobajo has said that Nigerians should expect a female President and more women as topÂ level players in the private sector in the next 50 years.
Mrs. Shobajo expressed this opinion at the occasion of Nigeria at 50 symposium, held atÂ His Grace Multipurpose Hall, Ejigbo Lagos State, organised by Image Discovery Resources.Â She said that Nigerianâ€™s have reasons to celebrate Nigeriaâ€™s 50th independence; becauseÂ we are still one political entity despite all the ups and downs the nation has passedÂ through.
Also speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chairman, Institute of Public Management, LagosÂ Chapter and also President Schools Magazines. Mr Tunde Eso advised Nigerians to stopÂ complaining but to cooperate with the leaders to achieve faster development for Nigeria.Â He called on Nigerians to be patriotic and honour our national flag stressing that theÂ white colour stands for peace and the green agriculture.
Organised byÂ Mr. Tunde Eso and President Image Discovery Resources, Shokoya, theÂ symposium was enlivened by comedians, an entertainment group chistened Adeyemi Band, whoÂ displayed a special way of reciting the National anthem in the cultural way.
