A Lagos businessman, Tolagbe Animashaun, has said the desire to eradicate poverty and unemployment through qualitative representation and empowerment of the youths has fuelled his quest for a seat at the National Assembly in the coming elections.
Speaking in a chat with P.M. NEWS, Animashaun said the youths who are the future of this country, should be given a voice in their quest to secure a promising future.
Animashaun, who is gunning for the ticket on the platform of the Peopleâ€™s Democratic Party (PDP), said with his antecedent as a grassroots politician within the Lagos Central Senatorial District, he remained the best choice to bring to bear the full potential of the area.
â€œWe have not had better representation in the Senate and that is so unfortunate. I will ensure that the district and the entire Lagos State are projected as the most economically viable of all within the Nigerian federation,â€ he said, while asking for support of the people of his constituency, who he promised not to disappoint if given a chance to represent them.
