A Lagos businessman, Tolagbe Animashaun, has said the desire to eradicate poverty and unemployment through qualitative representation and empowerment of the youths has fuelled his quest for a seat at the National Assembly in the coming elections.

Speaking in a chat with P.M. NEWS, Animashaun said the youths who are the future of this country, should be given a voice in their quest to secure a promising future.

Animashaun, who is gunning for the ticket on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), said with his antecedent as a grassroots politician within the Lagos Central Senatorial District, he remained the best choice to bring to bear the full potential of the area.

“We have not had better representation in the Senate and that is so unfortunate. I will ensure that the district and the entire Lagos State are projected as the most economically viable of all within the Nigerian federation,” he said, while asking for support of the people of his constituency, who he promised not to disappoint if given a chance to represent them.
