Funmi Iyanda Loses Father

Ace broadcaster, Funmi Iyanda has lost her father, Gabriel Olukunle Iyanda. He died on Monday, 11 October at the age of 71. The deceased was a former staff of the Nigerian Army Military Hospital and General Hospital, Ikeja.

He was a devout Jehovah’s Witness until he died. His remains would be laid to rest on 27 October 2010 at the Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens after a funeral service at the same venue.

He is survived by wife, Roseline Ireti Iyanda, Olumide Iyanda Editor, Saturday Independent, children, grand children and other relatives.
