Business and Professional Women of Nigeria recently honoured Otunba Segun Runsewe, the Director General, Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation, with the coveted award of Grand Commander of Business and Professional Women of Nigeria.
In his usual smooth oratorical element during the award ceremony, Runsewe, whose appointment was recently extended at the NTDC, cleverly perched a tantalising cherry on the gender cake through his moving speech dubbed Nigerian Women In Politics 50 Years After, which further reiterated his penchant for politics of inclusion.
Practically everybody present was more than glad to have the gangling DG around.
Runsewe was highly serenaded at this classy event that took place at the Senate Building of Tafa Balewa Square, Lagos, recently.
A savvy administrator, Otunba Runsewe has, since his initial appointment to head NTDC, deployed more diplomatic instruments than political daggers in addressing the myriad of problems that bedevilled Nigeria’s tourism sector and cultural exports for premium advantage and positive image projection for Nigeria.
Runsewe, no doubt, has actually got many reasons to be happy and remain in perfect condition.
