Anti-Bomb Gadgets Deployed To Lagos Airport For Jonathan

Security was this morning beefed up in and around the presidential lounge of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, South West Nigeria, for President Jonathan.
Anti-bomb gadgets were deployed to the airport with security operatives positioned all over the area in anticipation of the President’s visit to Lagos this morning.
All the cars entering the parking lot of the lounge were thoroughly screenned.
Since the Abuja bomb blasts, security has been unusually tight each time the President or his wife visits the lounge.
Last Thursday, even accredited journalists were barred from the lounge until Jonathan’s wife, Patience, who was in Lagos, was far gone.
The Movement for the Emencipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, has issued more threats to bomb Abuja and target President Jonathan’s campaigns.
