Blindman Blames FG For Cholera Outbreak

A blind man, Kehinde Oshilaga, has blamed the Federal Government for the recent outbreak of cholera in the country which killed more than a thousand people.

Oshilaja said the blame should be place on the Federal government and the Ministry of Water Resources because “water pipes installed during the colonial rule which have become rusty and conterminated caused the problem.”

Oshilaja added that due to the unacceptable state of public water supply, the people confronted their situation by seeking alternatives like producing sachet water, popularly knonw as “pure water”, drilling of boreholes etc.

”But most of the alternatives place profit above the health of the people,” he added.
