Community Bemoans Neglect
Residents of Ojuri-Igbesa Community in Ado Odo/Ota Local Governemnt Area of Ogun State, have bemoaned total neglect of the town by the state government, saying it has been deprived of basic social amenities.
According to the traditional ruler of the town, High Chief Musibau Abayomi Raheem Dada, the situation is a great concern to the entire community, adding that apart from the rural electrification it benefited during Obasanjo’s tenure, nothing has been done again to see that the area feels the impact of dividends of democracy.
Praising the state governor for the development transformation taking place in the state, Chief Dada appeal to the state government to come to the rescue of his domain by ensuring that basic social amenities are provided to the community.
He lamented lack of primary and secondary schools, good roads, market, health centre, community hall, drainages and potable water among others, in the area and also pleaded for the elevation and better treatment of traditional rulers in the state, while advising his subjects to desist from illegal acts and pay their taxes promptly.
