Have you settled down in the USA now?
Yes, I have and getting used to the new environment, the people and food.

How did you achieve this in such a short time?
As a Nigerian, you know we have the ability to fit into any condition, either good  or bad. I know why I came to this country, (USA). So there is nothing that can stop   me from achieving my goal. Also, my trainer has really been good, giving me some  tips on how to get down to business.

What business?
I have no other business, than punching my opponents in the ring, and when I see  blood gushing out from any part of their body I feel happy and fulfilled as a boxer.

Why do you derive pleasure in seeing blood gushing out of your opponent’s face?
It is boxing we are talking about now, it’s a sport, which puts you in a corner. You  can’t rely on anybody to save you from your opponent. I’m happy whenever I see blood  gushing out of my opponents’ eyes, mouth or any other parts of their bodies. This  spurs me to go for the kill.

What if your opponent cuts you first?
That’s the beauty of boxing. If my opponent cuts me first, I bet you, I would come  out of my shell and retaliate by giving him a bigger cut.

How many fights have you had since you arrived in the USA?
To be sincere with you, none. I have not stepped into the ring for any official  fight. I have only been training to keep fit ahead of any opponent that comes my  way.

But the last time you granted me an interview, you said you had been giving a fight,  what went wrong?
Yes. I had an opportunity but something went wrong and  I was not allowed to fight  the guy.

What happened?
The promoter said they could not find my fight records on Fightfans, because in  America, it is Fightfans that they rely upon to get fight records of boxers, but my  record is on Boxingrec. That was what stalled my fight.

What happens if they don’t see your fight records  on fightfans, you won’t be  allowed to fight again?
That is the problem I’m facing here. The promoters don’t want to give me fight  because of the mix up.

Didn’t you tell them that your records are on Boxingrec?
I told them but they won’t listen to me. I just hope and pray that things work out  well for me because I’m determined to rule the world.

Is the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control, NBB of C aware of your predicament?
Yes, they are aware, because I spoke with the Secretary General of the body, Remi  Aboderin.
He assured me that they would see what can be done to get my records on Fightfans  because without that, there is nothing I can do to have a fight in America.

Have you been promised a fight if your record appears on Fightfans?
Yes, I’m suppose to have a fight on 12 November this year. The promoter of the  proposed bout promised to arrange more fights for me if I can floor my opponent  without a cut. My prayer is that things work out well for me. I can’t continue to  waste much time training  without any fight.
You once visited the United Kingdom, did you experience such?
No, I never experienced such. My stay in the UK was worthwhile because I had the  opportunity to fight. But getting a fight here is not easy.

How are you surviving without fights?
I must confess it is not easy. I rely on some good people, who believe in my  ability. I’ve also promised not to let them down whenever I have a fight.
