Motorists and other road users plying Adekunle Fajuyi Street in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, South West Nigeria, have complained about the terrible state of the road.
One of them, James Okechukwu, a commercial motorcyclist, complained that the terrible state of the road has posed a nuisance to those plying it frequently.
According to him, One of them, “I stared working around here since February this year and this place that has now become so big was a small pothole at that time, but due to neglect, it has made the road almost impassable.â€
The most affected part of the road which is in front of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Training School, is causing great obstruction to traffic as vehicles have to stop for one another to avoid getting trapped in the ditch.
A staff of Choice FM, a local radio station in the area, who craved anonymity, told Lagos Bulletin that the defected portion has been announced severally on the local station to the state government and other agencies concerned, but still waiting to see when it will be repaired.
It is observed that motorists plying the road at peak periods of the day face serious traffic, while many vehicles have been damaged in the bad spot.
