Robbers Storm Ogba Cold Room

At least six armed robbers this morning stormed the premises of Mario Fisheries, a  cold room at 10, Kayode Street, Ogba, near Agege, Lagos State, South West Nigeria.

According to an eyewitness account, the robbers, who arrived the scene in a Honda  car, succeeded in forcing their way into the company.

Many cars parked inside Mario Fisheries were riddled with bullets and badly damaged.

The source told P.M.NEWS that the robbers gained entry into the company at about  9.30 a.m.

After they succeeded in scaring away people around the area, the robbers carted away  an unspecified amount of money and escaped.

P.M.NEWS learnt that the Area Commander of the Area ‘G’ Command in Ogba, Assistant  Commissioner of Police, ACP Mobolaji Odesanya personally led his men to the scene of  the robbery when they were alerted. But the hoodlums had escaped with their loot  before they arrived.

The manager of Mario Fisheries, who refused to mention his name, also declined to  comment on the robbery incident, saying he could not speak to the press.

Meanwhile, a source close to the police said investigation into the robbery incident  has commenced but no arrest has been made.
