UK Police Probe Death Of Nigerian Teenager
A murder inquiry is under way in the United Kingdom after a Nigerian teenager was shot dead when two balaclava-clad gunmen opened fire on a group of four young friends in the early hours of yesterday.

Officers were called to Chesterton Road, Plaistow, east London at about 3.20am after reports of two teenagers suffering gunshot wounds.
The 16-year-old victim, Samuel Adelagun, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was shot in the upper left chest.
A second teenager, aged 15, was taken to an east London hospital after he was blasted in his abdomen. He is in a stable condition.
About four shots are believed to have been fired in the attack.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the group were attacked from behind by the gunmen, who are thought to have been dressed in black and wearing balaclavas.
It is not known if they travelled in a vehicle or were on foot.
Neighbour Odia Wabenga, aged 48, said: ‘’I saw the police cars here blocking the road this morning and I didn’t know why. A friend of mine called me just now and told me a young boy had been shot dead.
It is shocking, I have lived here for almost 20 years. A year ago a boy was stabbed around here.I have a young son who is nine and I feel very bad if things start changing like this, it’s no good.’’
Floral tributes, including seven bunches of white roses, have been laid at the foot of the police cordon taping off the road.
No arrests have yet been made.
Next of kin have been informed, though the teenager has not yet been formally identified and a postmortem will take place tomorrow.
The shooting is being investigated by detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Trident unit, which tackles gun related crime within the black community.
