Residents Task Ogun Council Chief
Residents of Ijuri Igbesa community in Ado Odo-Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State have deplored the low level of development witnessed in the area in recent times.
In a statement signed by the traditional ruler of the community, High Chief Musibau Abayomi Raheem Dada, it is noted that at no time in its history had development been so far from the community as now.
According to the statement, the people of Ijuri Igbesa desire meaningful development in the areas of provision of potable water, community hall, schools, electricity and health care service, among others.
According to him, “what is on ground today is a far cry from our people’s expectation who are yearning for meaningful impact of government both at the state and grassroots levels.â€
The monarch also pleaded for his elevation and better treatment for natural rulers in the area, saying it will ensure that they too are part of government apart from making life better for them.
He appealed to the council chief, Mr. Nurudeen Abayomi Tella, to assist the community with provision of basic social amenities, while enjoining his subjects to be law abiding at all times.
