Fire Guts Yaba Tech

The Engineering building of Yaba College of Techonogy, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria was gutted by fire this morning, reports Paul Sanusi.
The fire destroyed computers and documents on the second floor of the three-storey building.
P.M.NEWS gathered that the fire was noticed at the office of the Head, Department of Metallurgy and it spread to another office in the building. It took about 40 minutes before a combined team of fire service men from the Lagos State Fire and Yaba Tech officials could bring the fire under control. The cause of the incident could be ascertained at press time.
