Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has appointed Transition Chairmen for sixteen of the eighteen Local Government Areas of the state which were dissolved on Monday, October 25.
The Transition Chairmen will be sworn-in today, Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Festival Hall of the Government House, Benin City.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Pally Iriase, the appointed Local Government Transition Chairmen are: Mr. Peter Ologun, Akoko-Edo; Col. G.M. Isemede (rtd.), Owan West; Alhaji Sufiyanu Igbafen, Owan East; Mr. Robert Okoinemen, Esan North-East; Elder Thomas Adodo, Igueben; and Mr. Andrew Akhabue, Esan South.
Others are: Mrs. Stella Okoro, Esan West; Mr. Oboh Ebholimen, Esan Central, Mr. Edomwonyi Dennis, Orhionwon; Mr. Osakpamwan Ekpeti, Ikpoba Okha; Mr. George Aimienoho, Egor; Prince Ekpen Erediauwa, Oredo; Mr. Jonathan Igbinomwahia, Ovia South-West; Mr. Ediagbonya Priestly Egbe, Ovia North-East; Mr. Bruno Oshionebo, Etsako West; and Engr. Peter Ojor Anyia, Etsako East.
