PDP Distributes Vehicles To Members

The PDP leadership  in Zamfara has distributed vehicles worth N56 million to members of its Central Working Committee (CWC) to facilitate grassroots mobilisation and support for the 2011 elections.

Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha, the Chairman of the party, made the donation in Gusau on Thursday.

He said while presenting the vehicles to members of the CWC that the gesture was aimed at gingering up officials of the party for door-to-door mobilisation in all parts of the state ahead of the elections

Mallaha stressed the need for the PDP to strategise for the 2011 elections, adding that no effort would be spared to deliver the state for the party at all levels.

He said the vehicles would facilitate direct contact between PDP officials and the electorate for a feedback to facilitate good governance.

He enjoined the beneficiaries to strive to consolidate the popularity of PDP in the state.

A beneficiary and Deputy Chairman of the party, Alhaji Saddi Dakitakwas, said the vehicles would rejuvenate the dedication of the CWC members to the party.
