A 22-year old man, Seun Epebinu, has been arrested for alleged robbery, 48 hours after he left prison.
The native of Ondo, who resides with his parents at Omologede, Ogoloto in Ikorodu, Lagos State South West Nigeria, is now being interrogated by the police at Owutu police station.
Seun, who had been in Badagry prison and regained freedom on 28 October, was said to have gone to a beer parlour on 29 October, at Adeola Street, Owutu, where he overheard the owner of the beer parlour discussing with a relative that she was going to purchase some turkey the following day with N300,000.
He allegedly informed members of his gang comprising Chinedu, Taye and Henry (the gang leader) who also doubles as the gangâ€
P.M.NEWS gathered that Seun led other members of the gang to the place in that night and they successfully robbed the tenants.

The robbers thereafter went to 1, Ajagba Street, where they robbed Mr. and Mrs. Sike Ayo of the sum of N400,000 and recharge cards worth N150,000.
Seun after the robbery operations was said to be walking through the area the following day when he was identified by his victims. They arrested and handed him over to the police at Owutu station.
He confessed to the crime, saying he was struck with madness sometime ago and ever since he has not slept in his house for one day. He said it is either he finds himself in the police cell or in the prison.
“I have been struck with madness. I have not slept in my house for one day. I either sleep in the police cell or in the prison,†Seun said.
When P.M.NEWS contacted the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Owutu police station, Mr. Monday Akpan, a Chief Suprintendent of Police, CSP, he declined to comment on the matter.
