The people of Ijuri Igbesa in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, South  West Nigeria, have appealed to the state government to establish a secondary school  in the area to save their children and wards from travelling to long distances for  their academic pursuit.

According to the traditional ruler, High Chief Musibau Abayomi Raheem Dada, the  community had donated land to the state government for the purpose of the school  project, pleading that work should commence there immediately in order not to  deprive their children from benefiting from the dividends of democracy.

He appealed to the council boss, Chief Nurudeen Abayomi Tella, to relate with the  state government and act fast on the establishment of the school.
