NPA Moves GMs, AGMs Others
Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has moved a number of its General Managers (GMs), Assistant General Managers (AGMs) and a Principal Manager (PM).
Among those moved were the General Manager, Administration Corporate headquarters, Chief Michael Kayode Ajayi who now heads the Public Affairs Department of the NPA, while Mr. Musa Iliya, an Assistant General Manager who headed the Public Affairs Department was moved to Special Duties.
A press statement signed by Mr. Isa Suwaid for the AGM Public Affairs stated that the other GMs who were moved in the schedule signed by the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. Adetola Atekoja on Monday include: Mr. Omar Suleiman, who was moved from Capital Projects Headquarters to Engineering, while Bashir Abdullahi, Legal, was deployed to Procurement and Engineer. T. O. S. Talabi of the Procurement was posted to Engineering (Maintenance).
The shake up also affected five Assistant General Managers and one Principal Manager.
They include Engineer A. O. Odunsi, Assistant General Manager; Utilities Headquarters who was deployed to Western Port in the same capacity while Engineer. M. A. Oruamen, Assistant General Manager Utilities, Western Port was sent to Corporate Headquarters, Marina, as Assistant General Manager Utilities.
Engineer A. O. Oyejola, Assistant General Manager, Capital Projects, was reassigned to Civil (Maintenance). E. D. Kabir, Assistant General Manager Board was posted to Western Port, Apapa as Assistant General Manager, Legal, while Ms. Yakubu Nana Asmau, Principal Manager, Legal, Western Port, was moved to Board Headquarters in the same capacity.
