The police at Aguda Police Station in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested two suspects armed with a dummy gun at 27A, Nuru Oniwo Street, Aguda.
The suspects, Ebere Obasi and Ebere Okeke, were alleged to be robbing their victims when a distress call was put across to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Aguda Police Station who immediately mobilized his anti-robbery team to the scene. The team P.M.NEWS learnt arrested the duo.
During interrogation, it was discovered that the robbers were operating with a dummy gun. A plastic bottle filed with acid, a hammer and a jack knife were also found on the suspects.
The suspects were taken to Aguda Police Station for preliminary investigations before being transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba, where they are currently helping the police in their investigation.
