Things have continued to go up for Uti Nwachukwu, the winner of Big Brother Africa All Stars. After series of carnival-like welcome gigs organised in his honour including governor of his home state, Delta, Emmanuel Uduaghan, joining the list of those to host him, Showbiz Trends learnt the young man is on the verge of snapping a multi-million naira endorsement deal with telecoms giant Globacom.
Sources close to the $200,000 cash prize winner of the pan-African television reality show, squealed that he has been contacted by the telecommunication company and it is bent on signing him on as one of its ambassadors.
The contract is said to be in the neighbourhood of $700,000 (N105million) and in the coming weeks, he may be presented to Nigerians through a press conference as the company’s latest ambassador.
Uti was said to have been sighted at an event held a couple of days ago by Globacom in company of other Globacom ambassadors including Ramsey Nouah, Kate Henshaw-Nuttal, Rita Dominic, Desmond Elliot and Ini Edo.
Globacom recently signed on Nigeria’s music sensation duo, P-Square for over $1.5 million.
