In a manner reminiscent of scenes in western movies, the headquarters of Kosofe  Local Government in Ogudu, Lagos was besieged this morning by Lagos High Court  bailiffs accompanied by a Lagos lawyer Barrister Olanrewaju Ajanaku.

Their mission was to enforce a court judgement to recover the debt of N1,806,350.

The judgement of the court was sequel to a suit filed by Mr. Olanrewaju Ajanaku on  behalf of a Lagos businessman, Adesina Odunlami and his company, Agbeworin  Construction Nigeria Limited.

It was alleged that the businessman constructed a drainage for the local council  over 10 years ago but till date his money has not been paid.

All efforts by the plaintiff to be paid were thwarted by successive administrations  until Justice Akeem Gbajabiamila gave judgement to recover the judgement.
