The Chairman of Ijanikin Youth Movement in Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Chief Akeem Modupe Abogun, has advised the council chief, Mr. Kayode Robert Da-Silva, to see to the provision of dividends of democracy to the people of the area as the bedrock of his administration.
Abogun gave the advice recently while assessing the projects embarked upon in the council area by the administration.
He noted that the council chief is indeed dedicated to the upliftment of the downtrodden, adding that he should touch other places that were yet to be touched within the council area in terms of development based on available resources.
While enjoining the people in other communities in the council area to continue to support the chairman by paying their taxes and other levies, Abogun urged the youth to desist from any act of violence during the forthcoming elections, saying that such could damage their image.
