Renowned Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina a.k.a. Baba Suwe, will tonight storm the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Satellite Town Cathedral, for a musical concert organised to celebrate the 33rd adult harvest of the church.
The concert, according to Superior Evangelist Alan Jones Udofia, is an all-night event, hosted by the choir of the church.
“It is also noted as one of the spiritual activities usually marking our adult harvest celebrations in this church a grand success,†he said.
Speaking further on the choice of the top comedian as the master of ceremony of an event of that magnitude, Udofia stressed that it was to prove a point that the concert is non-denominational and aimed at promoting peace and unity among the people, irrespective of their religion or background.
Udofia added that “Baba Suwe is a very talented man that can anchor events organised by any church denomination. He is an all-rounder and we are proud to have him as our guest artiste, having gone through a long list of other entertainers.â€
P.M. Entertainment learnt that in the past, the church had had in attendance the likes of Mallam Ibrahim Sokoto a.k.a. MC Kirikiri, Lanre Teriba (Atorise), Seyi Lewis (Alapanla) and Yomi King (Opebe), for the same event.

Confirming his performance to P.M. Entertainment, Baba Suwe said he will not only churn out rib-cracking jokes as MC of the show, but will further dazzle his fans with some of the songs in his yet-to-be-released album.
