Ogunjobi Wants Siasia To Quit Heartland

The immediate past Chairman, Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi has asked the newly appointed Super Eagles’ coach Samson Siasia to quit his job with Heartland.

Ogunjobi, who described the Eagles’ coaching position as exalted and enviable told SuperSport.com that it is an anomaly for Siasia to hold both positions at the same time. He added that the dignity attached to the office makes it imperative for the former U-20 coach to leave Heartland without further delay.

“My own advice to him is to do away with Heartland job. He is now in charge of our Super Eagles, that is the biggest brand in this country and for him to have full concentration on the job he should leave Heartland because Nigerians will not accept any excuse for failure.

“He should leave Heartland now because there is no way he can be earning salaries from both sides. He cannot be working for Heartland and at the same time working for the senior national team, it is never done anywhere in the world.
