Shedrack was the third contestant to exit the show based on last week’s vote. The contestant that receives the least vote is eliminated at the start of the show each week.

Olisa Adibua, the host, kick started the show by dividing the contestants into two groups of four, each to his left and right and later sent the group to his left, backstage, announcing to them they were safe, leaving Shedrack, Najite and Casey in the bottom half for the second consecutive week.

After a dramatic pause, Olisa said “goodbye Shedrack, you’re going home” and asked for his final thoughts, Shedrack thanked his fans for voting for him before departing the stage for the final time.

The guest judge for the Top Seven was Amaka, one of the singers in Girl Power Unleashed and a former member of rap crew, The Thoroughbreds. “I’m so blown away, this is a tough one because I really don’t have any low lights!” Amaka said when her comment was sought, she chose Casey and Boma as her high points.
