Prince Dele Kosoko, a House of Representatives aspirant for Badagry Federal Constituency on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has said that politics is not a game for mediocres.
Declaring his intention to vie for the position, he added that politics involves lobbying and realignment.
“I am in the race for obvious reasons, and that is to bring development to Badagry and its environs by exploring our natural resources, which our past representatives have failed to do.
“Badagry is a border community. If by the grace of God and by your support I am given the opportunity to serve, I will make sure that within 200 days in office, a bill empowering all border communities to benefit from derivation on natural resources will be sponsored and passed into law,†he assured.
“I can assure you the earnings from goods and automobiles that come through our border is enough to develop Badagry and its environs and make it a tourists attraction.
“I am sure the bill will scale through because my fellow colleagues from border areas will not hesitate to support it. To be a lawmaker at the federal level goes beyond just sitting at the chamber. It involves lobbying, consultation and connection,†he said.
