Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Physical Planning and  Urban Development, Mufutau Egberongbe, has described as a shame the continued  political crisis in Ogun State.

Speaking in his office at the Assembly complex recently, the lawmaker said the  activities of the political class in the state showed that the ruling Peoples  Democratic Party has lost direction.

According to Egberongbe, the lingering crisis between the Executive and the  Legislative arms of the state government had shown the incompetence of the Gbenga  Daniel-led administration just as he described it as a minus to the claim by the PDP  that its house was in order.

While warning the PDP not to create an opportunity to truncate democratic rule in  the country, he tasked the Ogun State PDP to take a cue from the Action Congress of  Nigeria and the way government is run in Lagos State.

He also expressed optimism that he would be back in the House to continue with the  job of lawmaking and representing his people.
