Two men, Salaudeen Jelili, 22, and Habibu Odunayo, 22, have been charged with stealing before an Ogudu Magistate’s Court in Lagos State.
The police prosecutor, Eyo Owai, in a two-count charge of felony and stealing alleged that the suspects stole a Nokia handset valued at N7,000 and a property of Zelami Sado, which worth N30,000.
When the charges were read to them, they pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor presented the confessional statements of the accused persons and the Nokia phone they stole from the complainant.
The trial magistrate, Mrs. Bola Williams, adjourned the matter till 26 November for judgement.
