Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State is expected to deliver a paper on Youth Unemployment in Nigeria, Its Challenges, the Roadmap and Opportunities, tomorrow at this year’s Ajasin Foundation which is the 11th edition of the annual event.
The event is expected to be chaired by Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, the CEO, Neimeth Pharmaceuticals Limited, who also doubles as the Chairman, Nigeria Economic Summit Group.
In a statement issued by the secretary of the Foundation, Mrs. Olajumoke Anifowose, Dr. Timiebi Koripamo-Agary, former Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, is expected to deliver a paper on Youth Empowerment, Panacea to Peace and Development, while Dr. Michael Kunnuji, a renowned demographer and lecturer at the University of Lagos, is expected to deliver a lecture on Nigeria’s Population: A Veritable Asset to National Development.
The event, which will take place at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos at 10 a.m., is expected to be graced by diplomats, scholars, captains of industry and associates of the late sage, Pa Michael Adekunle Ajasin, the fomer governor of old Ondo State and leader of NADECO, who the foundation was named after, to propagate his ideals and philosophy.
