Larry Football Club of Agege and Police Machine Football Club of Gbagada have booked final tickets in the Gbagada Mock Nations Cup.
Larry FC, popularly known as Ope-Ifa Boys, defeated Success FC 4-2 via penalty shootout after a barren draw in regulation time.
Larry’s goalkeeper, Seye Sorinola was at his best when he saved three penalty kicks to seal victory for his team.
Larry Team Manager, Lanre Sanyaolu, who could not hide his happiness was very grateful to God and urged the players to go for victory when they confront Police Machine in the final slated for 5 December.
“We have achieved our goal by reaching the final. What we need now is to go and prepare for the final match because we want to end this year by winning the trophy,†he said.
Sanyaolu said he did not know much about their opponents, but advised his players to approach the game with all seriousness.
In his own reaction, the Team Manager of Police Machine, Olusola Sangoniran, said both teams are good sides but noted that his team are technically better than Larry FC.
