Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho says he is happy with the attitude and reponse of his players in their UEFA Champions League cracker against Ajax.

The former Chelsea FC boss wants his Madrid stars to carry the attitude to their game against Barcelona in El Clasico at the Nou Camp next Monday

“I am very happy with the response of my players. The response of men like Arbeloa, Benzema, Albiol or Lass, who don’t usually play, made me very happy. I know I can reach far with this squad. The team doesn’t need to be motivated for the match in Barcelona on Monday. Each player knows what he must do when the time comes,” said the former Inter Milan of Italy coach.

“I spoke to many of my players during the game against Ajax, not just to Ramos and Alonso. Stories sell, but what matters is the 4-0 score and the fantastic game we played. Let’s talk about that and not about anything else.

“Karim Benzema is currently playing very well. He is happy and has little to improve on. He is going through a great moment and was one of the men responsible for Real Madrid’s solid performance against Ajax.

“All of my men are essential to me. Each will get his chance. We feel very secure with such a squad. My players’ response tonight was very good. They are ready for anything. and I’m happy for that. “The two red cards were the result of strange referee bookings in an easy game to monitor. I didn’t like them one bit, but if Ramos or Alonso can’t face Auxerre, others will take their place. We will not give our game against the French away. We want to win all our matches.
