Premier League returnees, Plateau United, say they are not considering terminating the contract of their head coach, Ndubuisi Nduka, just three weeks into the new season.

Plateau United through a statement from their club’s spokesman, Monday Goteng, dispelled rumours that they are planning to sack Nduka following an unimpressive start to the season.

“The attention of the management of Plateau United FC of Jos has been drawn to rumours going the rounds about the sack of the club’s Technical Adviser, Nduka Ndubuisi.

“The management wishes to state that there is no iota of truth in the rumours circulating around. There has never been a time when the management contemplated sacking Ndubuisi,” the statement read.

Plateau United have also given their support to Nduka to continue in his position without pressure in spite of losing their first two home ties this season by a similar scoreline of 0 – 1 to Dolphin Football Club and Sunshine Stars.
