The Oba-elect of Isheri Oshun in Alimosho Igando Ikotun local council development area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, Chief Samsudeen Mojeed Amoo has congratulated Engr. Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola on his victory at the Appeal Court last Friday.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS in his palace, Amoo described Aregbesola’s victory as the dawn of a new day for Nigeria, victory for the masses and a boost for democracy. He lauded the bravery and commitment of the judges in giving an unbiased verdict.
He said the judges, led by Justice C.D Ogunbiyi, at the Appeal court in Ibadan have demonstrated that the judiciary would always be the last hope of the common man.
Chief Amoo expressed gratitude to ex-governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Raji Fashola and those who stood by Governor Aregbesola during the legal battle.
