The Chairman of Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, Hon. Taofeek Abiodun Adaranijo, has submitted his letter of expression of interest to contest for the Agege Federal Constituency seat at the House of Reps.

The letter was received by the Clerk at the ACN’s secretariat, Ogba, Lagos last Sunday.

Adaranjo, who is aspiring to represent Agege at the National Assembly, was accompanied by the Council Secretary, Mr. Afolabi Ayantayo.

In his letter of intent, which was made available to Political Platform, Adaranijo stated that after due consultation with his constituency and having represented them effectively at the grassroots level, he is offering himself for service again in the capacity that they have requested him to do.

“I will provide effective representation. Politics is all about lobbying and realignment and this I will do to bring development to the good people of my community.

“I am in the race for obvious reasons and that is to bring development to Agege Federal Constituency and its environs by exploring all available options which our past representatives had failed to do,” he said.
