The Chairmen of the 3 Wheelers Association of Nigeria, Comrade Moses Buari has implored members of the union to regard themselves as ambassadors of peace and goodwill, and to shun all sorts of negative attitudes in discharging their duties to the public.
He said the duty of the union is to ensure members are well protected, to ensure adequate representation in the union. He maintained that the union still retains its status quo as a well established and respected organisation and urged members to always be law-abiding and embrace peaceful resolutions in all activities.
“Governor Babatunde Fashola has successfully embarked on the transformation of Lagos State into a mega city, and it is a thing of joy that his programmes have touched practically every area in the state, and most especially, we have witnessed a big transformation in the transportation sector, with the construction of roads as well as ensuing sanity on the roads,†he said.
Also speaking the vice chairman of the union, Comrade Ganiyu Dauda, said the union is a law abiding one and would not condone any act of hooliganism and lawlessness. He appealed to members to live up to expectations and lift the organisation to greater heights.
