The police in Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria has arraigned a man, Simon Onwanyika, before the Apapa Magistrate’s Court for allegedly driving in reckless and dangerous manner.
In charge no. MCK/162/10, the police prosecutor, alleged Simon to have drive resklessly at Mile two bus stop area along Mile 2 Badagry expressway with the vehicle registration No. XJ201AAA Leyland lorry and also having no regard to other road users.
The offence is punishable under section 29 (1) of RTA Cap 124, Vol. 6 Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail.
