Chairman of Ajalli Football Club of Okota, Princely Nwafor, is delighted that his team have booked a place in the semi final of the ongoing Shallom Cup.
Ajalli FC defeated Estate FC 1-0 in the quarter final of the Shallom Cup played last Saturday at the |Jakande Estate, Oke Afa Isolo playground.
SulaimonAkinyemi of Ajalli FC free header in the 19th minute silenced the vociferous fans of Estate FC who came to the match venue with high expectations.
Nwafor, who was happy about the performance of his team against Estate FC, boasted that there is no team that can stop them from winning the cup. He said his team are in high spirits and ready to crush Unity FC in the semi final come this Saturday.
In other quarter final results, Unity FC defeated Rising Stars 7-6 on penalty after barren draw in the regulation time; Young Stars lost 0-1 to Prestige FC and Multi Sports International FC humbled Bethel FC 2-1
