The Executive-Director of the foundation, Mrs. Tenidola Awoyemi, disclosed at a  press conference in Lagos yesterday that about 500 guests are expected at the event.

The Programme director of House of Refuge, Dr. Osasuyi Dirisu, disclosed that so  far, 62 drug addicts have been rehabilitated and reintegrated into the society.  About 45 sex workers have also been rescued, Mrs. Helen Nwabuokwu, programme  director, Genesis House, said.

Freedom Foundation was established in 2001 to provide education for orphans and  vulnerable children, rehabilitation services and education for drug users and sex  workers. The foundation also provides skills acquisition and business support  services for unemployed youth.
