Although the Maltina Show Your Swag 2010, a pan-Nigeria musical roadshow organised  by the Nigeria Breweries Plc, may have come and gone, the memory of the last show  held in Ihiala, Anambra State, will linger in the minds of participants.

One of such people that will remember the show for good is Ochi Dede, the creator of  Igba Master, a musical group in Anambra and the manager of Success Eze and Sophia  Obiaju, who were winner and first-runner up respectively in the female category of  the Maltina show held last weekend in the state.

“My girls have made me proud today. I discovered and trained these girls as dancers  in my music group. Their success today is a proof to whosoever cares to listen that  all the laurels that have come our way as a group were no fluke,” he said.

Dede recalled that he emerged the best artiste in Anambra in 2010 in a musical  project organised by  Madonna Radio, a local radio station in the state.

Speaking on the girls, the artiste who claimed to be a member of the same family  with the late highlife maestro, Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, said that ever since he  discovered the dancing talent in the girls, he had been preparing them for big  competitions, adding that their winning at the Maltina Show Your Swag will really  spur them to greater heights.

The Amazon Hotels Limited venue of the Ihiala show was filled to capacity as youths,  children and the elderly ones trooped out to watch, cheer and learn latest dance  steps as being displayed by the contestants.
