A chieftain of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party, Oludare Falade, has called on the party’s supporters to brace up for the forthcoming general election, stressing that the future of the country depends on the electorate whose votes will count in 2011.
Falade, who is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the party made this call while addressing party faithful recently in Mushin Local Government area of the state, as part of the MPPP’s mobilization drive.
“The era of siddon look in politics is over. This is the time when you have to take your destiny in your hands. You should all go out to register so that you can decide who governs you in 2011,†he said.
He further advised the party members on the need for them to mobilize other people in Mushin into the MPPP fold.
According to him, “the newly registered party is a progressive party which cares about the welfare of its members and the entire citizens of Nigeria.
“It remains the only party which can transform the country into the pride of Africa, a country where peace, justice, equity and rule of law reign supreme,†he said.
