As the 2010 Next Movie Star Africa is in its final week, so many events and activities have taken place from the moment the 16 housemates stepped into the house.
Those who emerged top during the auditions in their various countries, have been doing their best to prove to Africa that they don’t only deserve to be in the house, they also deserve to become the Next Movie Star.
The artistic ability of every housemate has been tested over and over again through mind-blowing tasks which include drama, dance drama, IQ test, timeliness challenge, dedication challenge and red carpet challenge, among others.
There are winners in every task and the Madiba ensures that every winner gets a reward.
The housemates have been visited by many top Nigerian celebrities including Koffi, Mo’Chedda, Portia Yamahan, Eniola Badmus, Goldie, Jaywon, Joe el, Foluke Daramola, Eyo and so many others, who advised and entertained them.
Meanwhile, the viewers have spoken and eight housemates have been evicted. They are Harriet White (Ghana), Aimiuwu Clifford (Nigeria), Dominic Boakye (Ghana), Angel Justaz (Tanzania), Ummu Barry (Guinea), Greg Ukhuegbe (Nigeria), Mohammed Ceesay (Senegal) and Mary Ganaah (Ghana).
The shock and disappointment of the evicted housemates showed in their reactions when they were evicted. Mary Ganaah, whose first words when she stepped into the house were “this is junior heaven,†could not stop wailing when she got evicted.
The remaining housemates are Akio Ilami (Nigeria), Rita Wright (Sierra Leone), Boma Mac Ake (Nigeria), Solomon Agbemenya (Ghana), Rebekita Asamoah (Ghana), Ifeanyi Williams (Nigeria), Yvonne Enakhena (Nigeria) and Princess Shyngle (Gambia).
Now that eviction is over, the remaining housemates would remove fear and show the world the talents embedded in them.
Kevin Chuwang Pam, Uti Nwachukwu, Tonto Dike and Portia Yamahan are products of the Next Movie Star, showing that the show as the specialty of discovering and developing future stars.
